Argh

The video I posted below isn't showing. After searching the blog.com site, I found that there are "sporadic" problems with video uploading. It's been a known problem since at least November 2007. Crazy thing is... if I preview this post while in edit mode, I can see the video. But no one else can see it. :(

Casey Jones Restaurant

Wonder if it's named after the same one as the Casey Jones Village in Jackson, Tennessee?

Eastern Continental Divide in NC

Bob and I weren't sure what this was. So, I looked it up on wikipedia.

This thing is huge! Not Grand Canyon huge, but grand nonetheless.

Time to update my visited states map!

To add South Carolina!

or check out these Google Hacks.

Bob and I took a mini-road trip this weekend. Friday night we stayed at his parents' house in Chanute, Tennessee. Saturday we attended a surprise birthday party in Blairsville, Georgia, then drove up to Franklin, North Carolina. Sunday we drove through Tallulah Falls, Georgia (home of Tallulah Gorge); Toccoa, Georgia; Seneca, South Carolina (where we dined at the fabulous Fatz Cafe); Clemson, South Carolina (home of Clemson University); Brevard, North Carolina (home of Brevard College); and Asheville, North Carolina. We got back to Lexington around 10 PM. Them's some mountainous regions!! Note to self... bring Dramamine next time.
